Grant Decision

The Foundation staff carefully screens grant applications. Those meeting the established criteria are presented to the Board of Directors or its duly authorized committee for consideration. The Board reviews proposals approximately three times a year. The decision on whether a grant will be made, and in what amount, is fully at the discretion of the Board of Directors. The President is not a member of The Hall-Perrine Foundation Board of Directors. 

When a decision has been reached, the organization is notified promptly in writing of the approval or denial of the grant proposal.

When a grant is approved, it is essential that the grantee also accept the terms and conditions set forth in an “Agreement of Donee”. These conditions include financial reporting, a summary of the fund-raising results, and other information needed to review and evaluate the project.
