The Foundation staff carefully screens grant applications. Those meeting the established criteria are presented to the Board of Directors or its duly authorized committee for consideration. The Board reviews proposals approximately three times a year.
When a decision has been reached, the organization is notified promptly in writing of the approval or denial of the grant proposal.
When a grant is approved, it is essential that the grantee also accept the terms and conditions set forth in an “Agreement of Donee”. These conditions include financial reporting, a summary of the fund-raising results, and other information needed to review and evaluate the project.
